We are pleased to provide pricing for the '12MY Legacy and Outback, as well as Tribeca. These models are scheduled to begin arriving at dealership around mid-September.

The 2012MY Legacy 2.5i Premium starts at $21,295, and the CVT model is $22,295 (both an increase of $300, or 1.4%). The Legacy 2.5i Premium (as well as the Outback 3.6R Premium) receives an upgraded audio system that now includes standard Bluetooth Hands-Free Phone and Audio Streaming Connectivity as well as Bluetooth steering control switches, 6-speakers, iPod Control Capability, and a USB port.

The optional Harman/Kardon® Audio System package is still available on Legacy and Outback Premium models and standard on Limited models. It adds an upgraded 4.3" LCD color display screen, and now includes HD radio along with the currently available XM® Satellite Radio Tuner. Additionally from the 2012MY, the package includes 4-months (formerly 3-months) of free XM Select™ radio subscription service for the customer from the date of purchase, and will be automatically activated from the factory to work 'out of the box' at your dealership upon arrival. (Any Subaru model with factory-equipped XM® Satellite Radio receives the 4-month trial subscription). It is available for $1,295 and is grouped with either the All-Weather Package or with both the All-Weather Package and Power Moonroof.

The Legacy 2.5i Limited continues to increase in popularity and its starting price for the 2012MY is $25,595, a $300 increase versus the '11MY. Legacy Limited models now include standard fog lights in addition to the upgraded harman/kardon® audio system. The Legacy 3.6R starts at $25,095 (an increase of $100). The Legacy 3.6R Premium (starting at $26,295) and Legacy 3.6R Limited (starting at $28,595) both increase by $300. Finally, the Legacy 2.5GT Limited increases by $200 and has a starting price of $31,595. 

The "right product at the right price" makes the Outback an unmatched value, and both ALG ("Highest Predicted Resale Value ? Midsize Utility Vehicle") and Kelly Blue Book ("Best Resale Value ? Wagon") agree. The formula doesn't change for the upcoming model year. The 2012MY Outback 2.5i will have a starting price of $23,295 ? a small $100 increase compared to the 2011MY.

The most popular model in the Subaru line-up, the Outback 2.5i Premium, starts at $24,795. The Lineartronic CVT option adds $1,000 to Outback 2.5i and Outback 2.5i Premium models. Outback Premium models echo the enhanced audio features of the '12MY Legacy, such as standard Bluetooth, USB port, and iPod controllability via the audio controls. The Outback 2.5i Limited is gaining an ever-larger share of Outback volume, comprising over 32% of all Outback units retailed for the 2011MY and starts at $28,695 ? a $200 increase versus prior year. The Outback 3.6R starts at $28,295 (a $100 increase), the Outback 3.6R Premium starts at $29,495 (a $300 increase), and the Outback 3.6R Limited will have a starting price of $31,695 (a $200 increase).
